This is very exciting. This is a holiday with a difference, where you draw and paint every day but also have chance to explore an unspoilt Greek Island and eat delicious local produce from street food to fine dining
Kalymnos Greece is located close to the Turkish coast, at the southeastern Aegean Sea and belongs to the Dodecanese group of islands.
Now in its fourth year, I have organised a trip with Helle Foy who is my colleague in Greece to Kalymnos, Greece, the dates are:
13th to 20th June or 23rd to 30th June 2020 (or both)
You will be drawing local Greek people, fantastic and varied characters, in gorgeous Kalymnian settings including the beautiful Pirates beach and taking the boat to Telendos, a neighbouring island
This course is fully tutored, you will be working in charcoal, pastel, ink and watercolour.
For the first week you can stay at Hotel Hermes if you wish, a family run hotel where Kathy and Peter are the perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble.
For the second week plenty of local hotels and apartments are available, the choice is yours
You can fly with British Airways from Gatwick to Kos, from there we take an exhilarating boat trip to the small island of Kalymnos. Easyjet also fly, Gatwick to Kos
The total cost is around £1 100 which includes:
Tuition – one to one, plenty of demonstrations
Accommodation and breakfast (at the Hermes)
Flights – British Airways or Easyjet
Some extras incl taxis to drawing venues, welcome meal, boat transfers
*You are responsible for booking your flights and accommodation, we are here to advise you, art materials are not included
